The current leader of the Premier League is looking to get his hands on a prodigy playing in Sao Paulo.
Arsenal are interested in Sao Paulo midfielder, the very promising Pablo Maia.
Edu puts his networks to work
Gunners head of recruitment Edu continues to work in the Brazilian transfer market. And his search led him to Maia, according to Gazeta Esportiva.
Sao Paulo is aware of Edu’s interest, but insists Maia will only leave if there is a big offer. We can imagine that there will be no deal below a proposal of 10 million euros.
Arsenal also have PL targets
The sum in question is not likely to discourage an English club. In addition, it is much lower than that of Joao Palhina (Fulham) and Douglas Luiz (Aston Villa), Arsenal’s two other targets in this mid-season period.
