In the pipeline for several days, the arrival of Luis Suarez at Inter Miami was made official on Friday by the American club. The Uruguayan striker has signed up for one season.
Three and a half years after their separation, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi will play again for the same club. Former partners at FC Barcelona between 2014 and 2020, these two members of the famous “MSN” (of which Neymar was the third component), will therefore find themselves on the side of Major League Soccer. This Friday, Inter Miami formalized the recruitment of the thirty-six-year-old offensive veteran. The latter is committed to the 2024 season.
Having left for Atlético de Madrid in 2020, Luis Suarez has since moved around quite a bit since he then spent a season in his training club CF Nacional, before tasting the Brazilian championship under the colors of Grêmio. Free from any commitment on December 31, the Uruguayan will therefore continue with a “made in USA” experience.

Physically tired
More than the reformation of a duo, it is even a quartet which will meet at Inter Miami. This summer, Lionel Messi was not the only ex of FC Barcelona to arrive since Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets also signed with Miami. Even if he has been experiencing some serious physical pain in his right knee for a while, Luis Suarez should still have enough fuel and will to shine in MLS.
