The Galactic era that began at the turn of the millennium allowed Real Madrid to end a 32-year drought without a European Cup title. Certainly, observers will mainly remember the high-sounding names which made up the Madrid squad at that time such as Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo, Raùl and David Beckham to name but a few. But within this host of stars, others have tried to stand out from the game, like Santiago Solari. With 209 appearances between 2000 and 2005, the Argentinian won no fewer than seven titles with the White House, including a Champions League in 2002.

After hanging up his boots in 2011, the native of Rosario retrained as a coach and even had the opportunity to manage Real Madrid between 2018 and 2019 before being replaced by Zinedine Zidane. Several years later, SPORT informs us that Santiago Solari could make his return to Santiago Bernabéu. According to the Spanish media, Florentina Perez, who considers the former Madrilenian as a player who left his mark on the history of the club, plans to entrust him “a command in the field of football” without giving further details.
