On track to extend in Marseille in recent days, Alexis Sanchez no longer really gives any sign of life through his agent. OM fear a departure at the back door.

Alexis Sanchez managed to make an impression during this season with OM, with a total of 14 goals and 3 assists in 34 games. The Chilean won in the Marseille capital and pleased the supporters with his commitment and his love for the Marseille jersey, as well as his exemplary character on and off the pitch. However, free of any contract this summer, Alexis Sanchez and his agent are in deep doubt over the former Barca’s future at Marseille.

Sanchez’s agent is distant with OM

A few hours after the good deal of the departure of Arek Milik sold to Juventus, OM want to do the opposite with Sanchez and extend the club’s other star striker. But at the moment, obviously, the conditions are not met for Alexis Sanchez to stay in the squad. Indeed, according to L’Equipe, the latter’s agent “ appears more distant than in the spring”, which casts doubt on the leaders, who know very well that the player is very courted in Saudi Arabia, but also by other European formations. Salary difference or assurance of playing in the Champions League, the former Arsenal player has more choices than expected, and for the moment he leaves his phone ringing without picking up when Pablo Longoria calls him.

OM are therefore perplexed with the fear of losing their attacking leader for the season which has just ended. Longoria and his men will still have to come out with arguments when they were convinced they had hit the mark by offering him a one-year contract extension, with another year as an option, and an increased salary, which is not harmless for a 34-year-old player.
