By scoring on Thursday in the Saudi Pro League, Algerian striker Riyad Mahrez reached a resounding total of goals.
Thursday evening, on the occasion of the 17e day of the Saudi championship, Al Ahli went to Al Feiha. It was a one-sided game (0-4) and Riyad Mahrez took the opportunity to establish a symbolic mark.
Mahrez stays on top!
Author of his team’s fourth goal from a penalty, the Algerian striker reached the mark of 200 career goals. An important figure that he achieved at the age of 32 and after just over twelve seasons spent in the professional world.

Mahrez’s first professional campaign dates from 2011/2012 with Le Havre. Obviously, it is in the English Premier League that he has most often found the net. Under the tunic of Leicester then that of Manchester City, he piled up 85 goals. In Saudi Arabia, which he joined last summer, Mahrez has already scored 8 goals and 10 assists in all competitions (in 24 matches). Its performance therefore remains more than correct.
Note that during this same match, the Frenchman Allan Saint-Maximin stood out. The former Newcastle player scored a hat-trick of assists.
With this victory, and while waiting for the other matches of the day, Al Ahli is in 3e place in the Saudi championship. Seven points behind leader Al-Hilal.
