Antoine Griezmann scored his fifth goal in the Champions League on Wednesday, and becomes fourth top French scorer in the European competition ahead of Olivier Giroud.

Will Kylian Mbappé one day overtake Karim Benzema in the number of goals scored in the Champions League? PSG’s star striker currently has 43 goals in Europe’s finest competition, while “KB9” left Europe after scoring… 92 times! Mbappé must already catch up with Thierry Henry, 59 goals, in second place among the top French scorers in C1.

Antoine Griezmann is the fourth behind Mbappé. In very good form this season, “Grizi” scored his fifth goal in the LDC, Wednesday evening during the visit of Lazio (2-0), for the sixth and final day of the group stage. The 32-year-old left-hander now has 42 goals in the Champions League, surpassing Olivier Giroud by one. The Milan center forward did not score at the same time and his team was eliminated.

A decisive passer for his teammate 2018 world champion (6th), Samuel Lino scored the break goal in the second half with a good recovery (51st). The Colchoneros thus won first place in Pool E ahead of the Roman team. Celtic saved the honor by beating Feyenoord, but it was the Feyenoord team which finished third to compete in the future Europa League play-offs.
