The Columbus Crew won the third MLS Cup in its history, led by French coach Wilfried Nancy.

The Columbus Crew won Major League Soccer for the third time this Saturday, dominating Los Angeles FC (2-1) in the MLS Cup, the final of the North American championship.

The Crew made the difference in the first period, thanks to Cucho (33rd) and Yeboah (37th). LAFC, outgoing champion, was only able to reduce the gap through former Stéphanois Denis Bouanga (74th), who will not win a second consecutive title with the Californian club.

The Columbus team is led by Wilfried Nancy, who becomes the first coach to win MLS. This former Toulon player made his debut in the professional world with Impact Montreal, where he took over from Thierry Henry on the bench in 2021.
