French international Mattéo Guendouzi scored his very first goal with Lazio on Tuesday evening in the Italian Cup.
Arriving last summer from OM (as part of a loan), Mattéo Guendouzi has become essential to Lazio due to his activity on the pitch. The French international was started for the fifth time in a row by Maurizio Sarri for the round of 16 of the Italian Cup against Genoa on Tuesday evening at the Olimpico.
The 24-year-old midfielder took the opportunity to score his very first goal with his Italian club, with a well-placed shot from a back cross from Luca Pellegrini at the start of the match (5th). Guendouzi opens his account after playing 12 Serie A and 5 Champions League matches.
