Nations League Final:
Feijenoord Stadium (Rotterdam, Netherlands).
Croatia – Spain: 0-0 after extra time, 4-5 on penalties.
Shots on goal: Vlasic (1), Brozovic (2), Modric (3) and Perisic (5) for Croatia; Joselu (1), Rodri (2), Merino (3), Asensio (4) and Carvajal (6) for Spain.
In a fairly closed and balanced final, with opportunities on both sides, we had to wait for the penalty shootout to decide between Spain and Croatia. In this little game, it was Luis de la Fuente’s team who were the strongest, thanks in particular to two saves by Unai Simon against Majer then Petkovic, and a victorious shot on goal by Carvajal on panenka.

With this victory at the end of the suspense, La Roja succeeds France in the winners of the League of Nations. At the same time, Spain wins its first trophy since 2012 by depriving Croatia of its first major title.
