Erling Haaland is not Real Madrid’s priority for the upcoming summer transfer window.
Although they are doing quite well without this season, Real Madrid do not intend to remain without a renowned striker in their squad during the upcoming campaign. Currently, management has two targets in sight. And they are known to everyone, namely Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé.
Mbappé preferred to Haaland but…
The Norwegian and the French embody what is best in the world in this position. Inevitably, these are also two of the most expensive players on the circuit. In fact, despite its financial power, Real cannot afford to enlist both of them. A choice will have to be made. For now, the preference seems to lean towards one player over the other.
According to the media Relevo, Mbappé remains the priority of the Merengue management. However, this file remains very complicated. Real is therefore obliged to look a little more into the case of Haaland. Florentino Pérez and his disciples are aware that the Scandinavian giant has a clause in his contract which will be active in the summer of 2024. They are also aware that the Manchester City striker’s dream is to join the Santiago Bernabeu. Everything is therefore in place for a raid during the next off-season if Mbappé continues to ignore the calls from the Spanish capital.
