An English giant is being encouraged to enter the race to sign PSG striker Kylian Mbappé. It’s not Liverpool, but another team, located a little further south in the United Kingdom.
London’s call for Mbappé
Mbappé will be at the end of his contract next June. If he does not extend his lease by then, he will inevitably leave the Ile-de-France team after a six-year adventure. The French star is a target for Real Madrid. Liverpool are also said to be interested in his services.
However, the Dutch media Voetbal24 affirms that if Real procrastinates too much on this issue. He also specifies that the crack Bondy would prefer to join Arsenal rather than Liverpool.
Why Arsenal? The Gunners’ French connection is attractive to Mbappé. And he was enchanted by the idea of following the path of Thierry Henry, the other legend of French football. However, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal have the spending power to sign the striker. A Premier League victory next May would certainly offer more arguments to Londoners.
