A Nantes supporter attacked with a knife and seriously injured

A member of the Loire Brigade is in serious condition after receiving stab wounds near Beaujoire.

The Loire Brigade, the most famous and ardent group of FC Nantes supporters, will have difficulty partying during and after the match of the 14th day of Ligue 1 against Nice this Saturday evening. According to information from L’Equipe, a member of this group is in serious condition with a life-threatening prognosis. The individual was allegedly attacked with a knife by a VTC shoe driver near La Beaujoire before the match against the Aiglons.

According to police sources cited by Tele Nantes Info, the incident resulted from an attack by Nantes supporters against Nice vehicles. The alleged attacker, who is still said to be on the run, is said to have been behind the wheel of one of the two cars.

FC Nantes and OGC Nice both communicated their support to the victim before the match kicked off.
