This poster counting for the 14th day of the Premier League was akin to a clash between two teams who wanted at all costs to avoid a new fight for survival at the end of the season. Following the victories of Arsenal, Brentford and Burnley, respectively against Wolverhampton, Luton Town and Sheffield United, Nottingham Forest and Everton crossed swords at the City Ground this Saturday. Remaining on three defeats in four matches, the Reds hoped to raise their heads and push the Toffees a little further, weighed down by a ten-point penalty and heavily beaten by Manchester United (0-3) the previous day.

Jordan Pickford (31st). If Felipe in turn missed the mark by hitting the opposing post after returning from the locker room (51st), Toffees left midfielder Dwight McNeil catapulted the ball into the right corner of Odysseas Vlachodimos (0-1, 67th).
