PL: Everton appeals withdrawal of 10 points

On November 17, Everton received some really bad news. Found guilty of breaches of financial fair play rules, the Mersey club was penalized with a withdrawal of 10 points in the league. Consequence: the Toffees are now 19th in the ranking with only 4 points. But they reacted by announcing that they had appealed.

“Everton Football Club today lodged its appeal with the Chairman of the Premier League Judicial Committee against a Premier League committee’s decision to impose a 10-point deduction on the club.
