Last in Ligue 1, Olympique Lyonnais ardently aims to maintain its position, but this challenge could emerge without two of its pillars.
Olympique Lyonnais could part ways with two of its executives during the January winter transfer window. If we are to believe the information from Progrès, these are Corentin Tolisso and Alexandre Lacazette, whose performances have been disappointing since the start of the season.
Indeed, the former Bavarian has struggled to regain his former glory since his return to Les Gones, 18 months ago, while the ex-Gunner has, for his part, lost his status as an indestructible player. The latter was even replaced at half-time of the match against Lille (0-2) this Sunday.
In addition to insufficient performances, these two OL figures benefit from significant salaries. Lacazette, under contract until June 2025, receives 5.4 million euros per year, while Tolisso, until June 2027, earns 4.8 million euros annually.

Given its delicate situation, the Rhone club could thus recover some liquidity and save on the salaries of these two players by transferring them. It remains to be seen whether the two are ready to leave their training club in the midst of a crisis.
