After the international break, the Premier League was back this Saturday afternoon with a very good showing between Liverpool and Manchester City. In the first period, the two teams observed each other for several good minutes. The defenses left very little space and it took an individual exploit to make the difference. Ederson intervened for the first time in this match in front of Darwin Nunez (16th) who had placed a very good header. On the other hand, Erling Haaland did not miss his first opportunity. The equalizing goal which punished a City team which seemed to be doing much better in recent minutes. Despite a few other chances on both sides, the two teams ended in a fairly logical draw (1-1). Manchester City, which remained on 23 consecutive home victories, remains leader of the Premier League (for the moment) but does not take the lead. A victory for Arsenal would put City in second place while Tottenham can also take the lead. Liverpool remains, while waiting for the other matches, runner-up to PL.
