Former France international, Mickael Silvestre, thinks Griezmann’s move to Manchester United is not a good idea at all.

Although under contract with Atlético Madrid, Antoine Griezmann is announced as a potential future recruit for Manchester United. The English club would even push to welcome him into its squad as soon as possible. A prospect that does not delight everyone, however.

“Griezmann at MU, that doesn’t make sense! »

A certain Mikaël Silveste, ex-Red Devils player, spoke out against this idea. He does not see what “Grizou” would come to do within a team which is already well stocked in the midfield.

“It’s never too late for a player to make a big transfer, but I think Antoine Griezmann would be a second Bruno Fernandes or Eriksen, because Griezmann no longer plays as a striker,” he said in an interview with Bettingexpert.com.

For Silvestre, Griezmann, as good as he is, will not bring any added value to Erik Ten Hag’s team. “He’s been playing lower lately so it doesn’t make sense for Man United to add him to the squad. Man United have enough quality in this position, so it wouldn’t be the first move they make. I don’t think such a decision makes sense.
