Everything was going wonderfully, until Tottenham fell to Chelsea. Since the defeat against the Blues in the Premier League (1-4), Spurs have faced injuries and disillusionment. Without James Maddison for many weeks, Ange Postecoglou’s men are eyeing the winter transfer window to try to bring in reinforcements up front. And a name, well known in England, seems to stand out…

According to information from Sport, Tottenham is putting pressure on FC Barcelona to acquire Raphinha. The Brazilian winger, who has still not proven himself indisputable in Catalonia, is now experiencing the emergence of Lamine Yamal. Spurs want to take advantage of this and to reduce Barcelona’s estimates (Barça is asking €70 million), they could include in the transaction a player who was already on the Blaugranas’ shelves at the time: Cristian Romero. An astonishing deal which surprises the Argentinian so much is based in north London, but who knows.
