Switzerland qualified at the expense of Israel

Switzerland won its ticket to Euro 2024 by drawing with Kosovo this Saturday evening (1-1).

Although held in check at home, the Nati was able to take advantage of Israel’s defeat against Romania at the same time to validate its ticket for Germany.

On neutral ground in Hungary in fact, the Romanians, leaders of this elimination group, dominated the Israelis with a score of 1-2, not without a goal from the son of the legend Gheorghe Hagi.

Romania, Switzerland and the Netherlands join this evening the contingent of qualifiers for Euro 2024, namely Germany, Albania, England, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Scotland, Spain, France, Hungary, Portugal, Slovakia and Turkey.
