Former Monegasque Cesc Fabregas revealed the choice he regretted the most in his professional career.
Cesc Fabregas, who has just ended his playing career, has said he regrets leaving Arsenal in 2011.
Fabregas wanted to continue with Arsenal
Cesc has just been appointed interim coach of Serie B side Como. It was an opportunity for him to look back on his career as a footballer. Looking back, the Spaniard said his departure from Arsenal to return to Barcelona was a mistake in his career.
“I always look forward, I don’t really like looking back. But, when I left Arsenal for Barcelona, I think if I could go back I would do it a little later.”
Fabregas spent three years with the Blaugrana. He won a few titles there and played 150 matches, but he never established himself as a full-fledged starter. He then returned to the Premier League, to Chelsea.
