New twist in the sports betting affair in Italy. While Sandro Tonali and Nicolò Fagioli were respectively suspended for 10 and 7 months for multiple offenses linked to this illicit practice, another player’s name was cited in recent hours as part of the investigation.
According to the Italian press agency AGI, this is the name of the former PSG player, Alessandro Florenzi, who would now appear in the investigators’ register of suspects. The agency specifies that the AC Milan defender should be questioned in the coming days, still as part of this investigation. Before him, Nicolò Zaniolo had to undergo the same procedure and subsequently escaped sanction.
