After having recorded the departure of Lionel Messi at the end of the contract, the PSG would like to complete the transfer of Neymar in order to offload his imposing salary.

A few weeks after the departure of Lionel Messi, will Paris Saint-Germain be able to tie up that of Neymar? Like last summer, Luis Campos will try to find a way out for the Brazilian international, highly paid in the French capital and who is not easy to get rid of. Unlike the summer transfer window of 2022, Neymar is however inclined to pack his bags, in particular to join the Premier League, where several clubs like Chelsea, Newcastle or Manchester United are thinking of him.

Saudi Arabia is another plausible destination for the former FC Santos star. According to information from the 90 Min site, the Saudis are very keen to welcome Neymar to the Saudi Pro League. After having tied up the arrivals of Cristiano Ronaldo or even Karim Benzema and soon Steven Gerrard and Ngolo Kanté, the Saudis would like to grab Neymar. And all the biggest clubs in the country are snapping up the former FC Barcelona player according to the media, which cites Al Hilal, Al-Ittihad, Al-Nassr and Al-Ahli as four very serious contenders for the signing of Neymar during this summer transfer window.

Neymar priority of Saudi Arabia?

L’Express confirms that Neymar is part of Saudi Arabia’s shortlist during this summer transfer window, while the Saudi Pro League also targets Son, Lloris (Tottenham), Pogba (Juventus) and Koulibaly (Chelsea). It remains to be seen whether from the height of 31 years, Neymar wishes to continue his career away from Europe and the Champions League. A big doubt exists on this subject while the trend was rather to leave for England or one more season under the colors of PSG for the “Ney”. The colossal salaries offered by Saudi Arabia are nevertheless capable of changing any player’s mind.
