Obviously, Chelsea does not intend to stop on recruitment. The Blues have already spent more than €1 billion over the past three transfer windows, after owner Todd Boehly took charge of the London club last summer. And there are already targets for the next winter transfer window since a central striker would be a priority, while the names of Lautaro Martinez, Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, Evan Ferguson from Brighton and Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen have already been associated with the Blues.

Yet, The Sun explains that Mauricio Pochettino will only have a very limited contribution to complete his squad. Indeed, recruitment will be managed exclusively by co-sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, with the support of Boehly, and the last word will therefore not belong to the Argentine coach.
