Fabregas finds a bench in Italy

Former Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas has been named manager of an Italian club.

After hanging up his crampons, Cesc Fabregas decided to put on the coaching outfit. And the former Monaco or Arsenal player in particular will begin his new career with Italy.

The 36-year-old Spanish world champion was officially named coach of Serie B side Como 1907 on Monday.

“Como 1907 and Moreno Longo have separated. The search for a new head coach begins immediately with Cesc Fàbregas and the current coaching staff taking over for the interim period. After several months of strategic planning, the board decided that a change in dynamic was in the best interest of the club”we can read in the press release from the transalpine club.
