Inter Milan have entered the race for Feyenoord star Santiago Gimenez, according to reports, preparing to compete with Real Madrid and FC Barcelona for his signature.

Gimenez, 22, has scored 15 goals in all competitions this season and his form has attracted the attention of Europe’s biggest clubs.

The Mexican also scored 23 times last season, proving his prowess is not fleeting

According to CalciomercatoInter are ready to fight to recruit Gimenez to strengthen their attack line.

Inter signed Marcus Thuram on a free transfer from Borussia Monchengladbach to accompany Lautaro Martinez this summer, while Alexis Sanchez (free) and Marko Arnautovic (on loan) also joined the Nerazzurri in the last transfer window.

Despite Thuram’s impressive debut at San Siro, Inter are reportedly looking to sign Gimenez, but a deal won’t be easy to come by given huge interest from other top clubs.

How much will Santiago Gimenez cost?

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano believes €45m could be enough to seal a deal for Gimenez, but 90min reports that Feyenoord will not accept an offer lower than €100 million for the Mexican star.

The asking price was reportedly set after Ajax managed to convince Manchester United to pay 95 million euros for Brazilian winger Antony, and Feyenoord believe Gimenez is good enough to become the all-time sales record in Eredivisie.
