“You shut up, you’re not at home here”, Genesio loses his temper

The Rennes coach was very angry with the Lyon staff at half-time of the match between the two teams.

It was a tense return to the locker room which was captured by Canal+ cameras this Sunday at half-time in Rennes-Lyon. After a first period marked by the direct red card addressed to young Guela Doué, Bruno Genesio let loose by insulting a member of the Rhone staff.

“You shut up, you don’t belong here, railed the Rennes coach. You understood ?! You’re not in Lyon here, my guy. You shut your mouth. » It is not clear who Genesio was speaking to. Some think that this message was addressed to Rémy Vercoutre, while Canal+ mentions words intended for the OL physical trainer.

This Rennes-Lyon is necessarily a special match for Genesio, who was a player then coach of the Rhone club. He also worked alongside Vercoutre for several seasons, notably between 2011 and 2014 when Vercoutre was still a player while Genesio was the assistant to Rémi Garce then to Hubert Fournier.
