Real Madrid are indeed interested in recruiting Erling Haaland during the next offseason.
Real Madrid are reportedly ready to explore the possibility of paying Erling Haaland’s exit clause in his contract with Manchester City.
Real accelerates for Haaland
According to AS, there is an option worth 200 million euros in Haaland’s contract which would allow the Norwegian to leave before the end of his lease. Real is seriously considering paying this sum at the end of the current season.
Rafaela Pimenta, Haaland’s representative, was at the Santiago Bernabéu to watch Real Madrid’s victory over Braga in midweek. A visit that is not at all trivial.
The rumors surrounding Haaland were sparked after Real Madrid released a statement last week to deny reports of contact with PSG star Kylian Mbappe over a free transfer in 2024.
As a reminder, Haaland’s contract with City runs until 2027. Currently, he is serving his 2e season with the Sky Blues.
