Juve and its “scoring defenders” take control

Juventus is provisionally at the top of Serie A after its fifth victory in a row against Cagliari (2-1) on Sunday.

Juventus Turin won a fifth victory in a row in Serie A, on the 12th day of the championship. The Bianconeri won at home against Cagliari this Saturday, thanks to second-half goals from defenders Bremer (60th) and Daniele Rugani (70th). Alberto Dossena reduced the gap at the start of the first period (75th) for the Sardinians.

Thanks to this victory, Juventus temporarily regains the lead in the standings, pending Sunday’s meeting between Inter Milan and Frosinone. Another competitor of Massimiliano Allegri’s players in Serie A, AC Milan was held to Lecce (2-2) earlier in the day.

Adrien Rabiot, suspended, did not participate in this meeting. Former Marseillais Arkadiusz Milik came on at the end of the game.
