PSG has a bad week before going to play Reims this Saturday (5 p.m.). The capital club was beaten in the Champions League against AC Milan last Tuesday (2-1), displaying a slightly failed overall performance, even though they were leading the score. The Parisians ceded first place in Group F to Borussia Dortmund and revived the Rossoneri, who had still not won this season in C1. With this second defeat in the group stage, the results are disappointing, admits Luis Enrique at a press conference.
“We are not yet first, we still have room for improvement. In the Champions League, it’s the most difficult group in the competition, it’s one of the only really interesting groups. Until the last day, there will be the possibility of finishing 1st, 2nd, 3rd and even 4th. It looks like eighths, quarters or even semi-finals. I am convinced that we will succeed in qualifying. But there is obviously a risk”, fears the Spanish technician. It’s up to him to find solutions during the last two days against Newcastle and BvB in order to avoid a catastrophe.
