The LFP disciplinary committee delivered its verdict after the incidents on the sidelines of the match betweenOlympic Marseille and theOlympique Lyonnais, which was to take place on October 29 at the Stade Vélodrome. The OL bus was stoned in the streets of Marseille, causing injuries to the face of coach Fabio Grosso and leading to the postponement of the match on December 6, at the Stade Vélodrome and with the public.
OM not sanctioned
This Thursday, the LFP announced that it would not sanction the Marseille club, considering that it could not be held responsible since the incidents took place outside the Stadium and could therefore not hold OM responsible.
OL contests
A decision that makes the Lyon side cringe.
