Find all the results of this Tuesday evening’s matches, counting for the 4th day of the group stage of the Champions League.

While the Paris Saint Germain hosted AC Milan (2-1) as part of the 4th round of the group stage of the Champions League, several other big European teams were on stage this Tuesday evening across the four corners of the continent.

A little earlier in the evening, Borussia Dortmund emerged victorious in their duel against Newcastle (2-0). As on the way out, the Magpies bowed to the Germans. A victory which allows the Bundesliga resident club to get one foot into the round of 16 since BVB now has 7 points with 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat in 4 days.

City wins without forcing

All eyes were also on Manchester City, the current title holder. THE Cityzens signed without forcing a fourth success in four matches against Young Boys (3-0). A victory obtained thanks to an achievement by Phil Foden (45+1′) and a double from the untenable Erling Haaland (23′, 51′). At the same time, Red Star Belgrade collapsed against RB Leipzig (1-2). Two defeats which already exclude the Serbs and the Swiss from the premier competition of Europe.

Barça falls in Donetsk

This evening, FC Barcelona was also disappointing by losing to Shakhtar Donetsk (1-0). The Catalans suffered their first defeat of the competition. Xavi’s men did not hold their ground by being led by the Ukrainians in the first half by Danylo Sikane (40′). For FC Porto, Brazilian striker Evanilson, scorer of a hat-trick against Antwerp two weeks ago, did it again by converting a penalty. Pepe took care of making the break at the very end of the match (2-0, 90+1′).

Atlético torpedoes Celtic

Finally, the clash between Atlético Madrid and Celtic Glasgow turned – as one might expect – in favor of the Colchoneros (6-0), who regained the lead of their group. A real festival signed by Antoine Griezmann (6th, 60th), Alvaro Morata (45+2′, 16′), Samuel Lino (66′), and Saul Niguez (84′). Direct consequence: Feyenoord, who collected 3 points against Lazio Rome (1-0), now occupies second place, ahead of the Batavians third, and the Scots dead last for the moment.
