Outrage to French football

An English media outlet, well known to football lovers, does not really consider the work of French club coaches.

French-style training has long been recognized, particularly in Europe. This is one of the reasons why the best footballers educated in France go to England and Germany, among others.

But French club coaches do not benefit from such a status. Which might seem like a real paradox. Only one of them appears in the current Top 50 managers established and published by FourFourTwo at the start of the week.

Franck Haise (RC Lens) ranks 25th among three other coaches in the French Championship: the Spaniard from PSG, Luis Enrique (13th), the Austrian Adolf Hütter (27th, AS Monaco) and Will Still, the Belgian coach from Stade de Reims (45th out of 50).

Not surprisingly, Pep Guardiola (1 – Manchester City – Spain), Jürgen Klopp (2 – Liverpool – Germany) and Carlo Ancelotti (3 – Real Madrid – Italy) stood on the podium.

If FourFourTwo took the selectors into account, Didier Deschamps would surely keep Franck Haise company.
