About ten years ago, AC Milan stood out for the rise of a young prospect from its training center, Hachim Mastour, who was advancing with the status of a future nugget. The Moroccan attacking midfielder quickly achieved early fame and it made him suffer, as he recently revealed to us in an exclusive interview: “Yes, I suffered a lot. I went through a period of depression. It wasn’t easy, I fought so hard and luckily my family was close to me. Saying thank you from the bottom of my heart is not even enough. The world of football is not easy and you meet people who don’t see you as a boy trying to make his dream come true, but as a money machine. That’s how I was perceived.” Ten years later, the Lombards have another early phenomenon and of course, this time they will try to learn from the mistakes of the past. For the moment in any case, everything is going well for Francesco Camarda.
A young striker of just 15 years old who was born on March 10, 2008, Francesco Camarda is already considered the Primavera’s greatest hope. Accustomed to being outclassed and breaking records for precocity, he took the opportunity to do so while disgusting opposing goalkeepers. With 247 goals in the 2018/2019 season, 172 goals in the 2019/2020 season, 64 goals in the 2020/2021 season, 17 goals in the 2021/2022 season and also the 10 goal mark crossed last year, Francesco Camarda simply had more than 500 goals with AC Milan’s youth teams and a ratio of almost 5 goals per match. If his numbers become less impressive, it is linked to the fact that he is outclassed like this season. A U17 international with Italy (4 goals and 1 effort in 6 matches since August), he plays with the U19 team of AC Milan where he already has 6 goals and 1 gift in 10 matches. However, he only scored one goal in the league, but stood out in the Cups.

Already compared to the biggest
In Coppa Italia Primavera against Virtus Entella, he saw triple in a 7–0 victory. But it was especially during the Youth League that he stood out. Starting the first match against Newcastle, he led Milan to a 4-0 victory where he scored a double and delivered an offering. A high-class performance, especially since he was only 15 years and 195 days old. He became the youngest Italian to score in the Youth League and the youngest player to score a double in this competition. Well done Franci, keep it up! Aller notably declared his coach Ignazio Abate to Gazzetta dello Sport after the meeting. Already under contract with Adidas and having practically 100,000 followers (98,000) on Instagram, the nugget Francesco Camarda is currently achieving great performances which give him a glimpse of a great future.

Spotted in Afforese in the suburbs of Milan when he was only six years old, Francesco Camarda was already above the rest as Piero Colangelo explained to Sprint & Sports : “it was impressive. He was three years younger than the others and did the exercises I suggested better than anyone else. Let me be clear, I don’t want to take any credit. Everything Francesco has done is exclusively thanks to him. That day I was shocked to see him, he already looked like a miniature footballer. His case is absolutely unique, I have never met guys with his qualities again.” Already compared to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland and Karim Benzema, he only dreams of one thing as he declared to Sprint & Sports : “make your debut in Serie A with the Milan jersey.” If the dream is possible given its performance, the road still looks long. Not wanting to put pressure on him, the Lombard club wants to wait until he turns 16 next March to offer him a contract and thus get ahead of the big names who follow him like Manchester City. In the meantime, he will have the opportunity to have fun with the Primavera and in the Youth League to continue growing. The PSG U19 team he faces this Wednesday has been warned.
