Several players born in Paris or the Paris region are currently in the PSG squad. And while Randal Kolo Muani has joined the Parisian colony of the capital club, other players in the same situation could look into arriving at PSG. This is the case of Ibrahima Konaté. Born in Paris in 1999, the Liverpool defender is an important element in the eyes of Jürgen Klopp on the banks of the Mersey. However, and while he has been playing with the Reds since 2021, Konaté could be interested in moving to his hometown.

Asked about this perspective at the microphone of Channel Football Clubthe French international (13 caps) opened the door to this possibility: “PSG today, they recruited players who get along well and who play in the national team. For Parisian fans, it makes them happy because they have their own Parisians in their team. This is what they have been waiting for for years. If I see myself at PSG. But no, to say no would be to lie to you. But to tell you that I’m thinking of it as a goal at the moment, no, not at all.” To be continued…
