This Sunday, for the 11th day of the Premier League, Aston Villa traveled to Nottingham Forest. Author of a good start to the season with a fifth place, the Villans nevertheless fell with a score of 2 goals to 0.

A defeat which stops their great series of 6 consecutive matches without defeat. Having just won the Yachine Trophy (which rewards the best goalkeeper of the season) Emiliano Martinez was lined up at kick-off in the Villans cage.

However, the 2022 world champion has not assumed his status. The Argentinian missed his encounter and even made a ball on the second goal scored by Orel Mangala.

On the Nottingham striker’s strike, the Argentinian worked in an unacademic manner, enough to deflect the ball into his own goal. If he tried to bluff by suggesting that the ball had not crossed the line, he was betrayed by the referee’s watch.
