The fault lies with an excellent Ante Budimir, author of a double (25th and 55th). In the second half, Girona pushed to come back into the lead. It was ultimately Artem Dovbyk who sounded the revolt with his header (2-2, 71st). Then, dominating at the end of the match, the visitors were able to find the resources to win, helped by Viktor Tsyhankov, scorer – with success – in the 80th minute of play (2-3). Aleix Garcia will drive the point home (2-4, 90th). On arrival, an important victory for Girona which confirms its incredible start to the season by reaching 1st place in the championship, awaiting Real Madrid’s match against Rayo on Sunday at 9 p.m. Osasuna is 11th.
