In the interview he gave to France Football, the 2022 world champion was asked a quick question about his two years at PSG. Here is his response: “In Paris I spent two years during which many things happened, some good and some not so good. But I have already mentioned this period several times, it now belongs to the past and I only remember the positive things: with the team, we won two Championships in a row, while the previous season another team had been champion (Lille, in 2021). Furthermore, I made very good friends in Paris and it was by playing there that I managed to become world champion. »
It is true that Messi has repeatedly mentioned the fact that he had not been very happy during his two years at PSG. The Argentinian therefore prefers not to add more, and not to add fuel to the fire, and this is undoubtedly a wise decision.
