Visiting a press conference this Thursday before facing Montpellier, Luis Enrique reviewed the news from the Ile-de-France team. The Spanish technician was notably questioned about Milan Skriniar, who arrived free this summer from Inter Milan. The central defender, who has not yet convinced everyone, is however very appreciated by his coach.
“Milan, more than all the messages we can send, you have to see the facts, you have to look at the minutes played and if he plays so much, it’s because he’s a player that I love enormously . He has great international experience, he brings everything I need, he manages to start the game, to make the game progress. In addition to being a solution to restart, he wins the duels, he is solid, he is very tactically intelligent. He’s a leader, he’s a great contribution to the club and like everyone else, he has to improve but we all have to improve.”
