Bukayo Saka, the brilliant Arsenal winger, aims to win the Ballon d’Or in the future. 24e in the ranking this year, he therefore sees himself reducing the gap which separates him from the top and thus becoming the new global reference.
Arteta encourages Saka to reach Ballon d’Or
The winger wants to become the best player on the planet by helping the Gunners win trophies. A goal that he shared with his club coach, Mikel Arteta.
“He thinks about it”revealed the Spanish coach to journalists when he was asked if like Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham, Saka saw himself being among the heirs of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
“He wants to be the best and I discussed it with him. It’s great that they have these goals and this state of mind, added the Basque technician. Asked afterwards about Saka’s ability to achieve those goals, Arteta added: “Of course.”
