Saudi Arabia will most likely host the 2034 FIFA World Cup following Tuesday’s Australian FA announcement.

Based on the principle of rotation, Fifa launched the call for applications for 2034 by limiting the choice to the Asian and Oceanic confederations. Saudi Arabia has received support from Indonesia in particular.

North America (United States, Canada, Mexico) will host the 2026 edition. In 2030, the World Cup will take place in Spain, Morocco and Portugal.
