Brazilian star Neymar sent a little message to his friend Lionel Messi, crowned Ballon d’Or this Monday.

At 36, Lionel Messi won his 8th Ballon d’Or, ahead of Erling Haaland and Kylian MbappĂ©, this Monday at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. An event to which his former teammate at Barça and Paris Saint-Germain, Neymar, did not fail to react.

Absent from the ceremony, the Brazilian striker from Al-Hilal nevertheless congratulated the “Pulga” through a message on social networks. “Congratulations Leo, you are the best”wrote his former friend from the MSN (Messi, Neymar, Suarez) on Instagram.

As a reminder, Auriverde suffered a rupture of the cruciate ligaments of the knee and a torn meniscus during Brazil’s defeat against Uruguay (2-0) on October 18 as part of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
