OM-OL: “We won’t let it happen,” promises Diallo

The boss of the FFF spoke of the incidents in Marseille this Monday on the sidelines of the Ballon d’Or.

Philippe Diallo, the president of the French Football Federation, reacted to the incidents which led to the cancellation of the Olympico on Sunday evening in Marseille.

On the sidelines of the Ballon d’Or ceremony, the boss of the French body was moved by such a scenario, deplorable for the image of French football: ” It’s a scandal, a shame. We won’t let it happen. I don’t want football to fall prey to these thugs who tarnish our image. We will do everything possible to definitively eradicate this phenomenon which shames our country. »

Same firmness in the words of national coach Didier Deschamps: “ It’s horrible to have such images. We don’t want to see them, let alone see them again. (…) Regardless of the location, it harms the image that football should convey. »
