Jude Bellingham wins the 2023 Kopa Trophy

This 67th edition of the France Football Ballon d’Or is lively and rewards the players who have marked the 2022/2023 season. For the Kopa trophy which rewards the best player under 21 of the past season, there were ten in the race. Thus, Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund/Real Madrid) and Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich) were favorites.

It was ultimately the first city to be crowned just ahead of its German counterpart. Second in 2021 and fourth last year, Jude Bellingham finally gleans this title. Note that the 2021 and 2022 winners, Pedri (FC Barcelona) and Gavi (FC Barcelona) were in the running as were Rasmus Højlund (Atalanta/Manchester United), Antonio Silva (Benfica), Xavi Simons (PSV Eindhoven/PSG/RB Leipzig ), Elye Wahi (Montpellier HSC/RC Lens) and Alejandro Baldé (FC Barcelona).
