The dramatic evening that occurred in Marseille, ahead of the OM-OL meeting that was ultimately canceled after the stone-throwing of the Lyon bus and injuries to the faces of Fabio Grosso and his assistant, left its mark on the minds of French football. But unfortunately this is not the only tragedy that occurred near a football stadium on Sunday evening. As reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport this Monday, a body was found in the parking lot of the Diego-Armando-Maradona stadium, on the sidelines of the match between Naples and AC Milan (2-2).

The body of the deceased was found around 2 a.m. in a tunnel after a passerby reported it to the police. According to police sources, from a man who is a friend of the victim, this 42-year-old supporter did not have a ticket and tried to access a stand through a tunnel, before being victim of a fatal fall of twenty meters while trying to cross a barrier. A police investigation is currently open.
