In a Manchester derby which saw the Citizens apply the law of the strongest to great extents this Sunday (0-3), Manchester United was once again sent back to its doubts and its limits. If they remained on two consecutive victories in the championship against Brentford (2-1) then Sheffield (1-2), Erik ten Hag’s players today remain stuck in 8th place in the Premier League.
A nightmarish situation for a club of this stature, already beaten five times this season in the championship, and reflected in a fairly alarming new statistic.
