By easily beating Nottingham (3-0), the Reds temporarily moved up to third place in the Premier League.

This Sunday afternoon, Liverpool hosted Nottingham on the tenth day of the Premier League. Shortly after the half hour mark, the Reds found the fault. Nunez was served by Salah and hit a strong cross. Turner repelled the Portuguese’s attempt, but Jota followed well to open the scoring (1-0, 31st). A few moments later, Nunez made the break by scoring with the left, from close range, under the crossbar (2-0, 35th).

In the second half, Salah increased the score. Following a long opening from Dominik Szoboszlai, Matt Turner found his way out and gave the Egyptian the opportunity to score in the empty goal (3-0, 77th).

Thanks to this victory, the Reds temporarily move back onto the third step of the podium, two points behind leader Tottenham. However, they might not be there for long since the Mancunian derby is being played as we speak.
