If he has been sparkling since the start of the season, Warren Zaire-Emery has not yet scored since the start of the 2023-2024 financial year. It is now done.

This Sunday, at the start of the afternoon, Warren Zaire-Emery opened the scoring in favor of Paris Saint-Germain, on the pitch at Stade Brestois. The number 33 of the Rouge et Bleu sent a tight shot which lodged in Marco Bizot’s left corner.

This season, it is the very first goal scored by the 17-year-old midfielder, his second since his professional debut with the capital club. He scored the first last February, becoming the youngest scorer in the history of PSG in Ligue 1. Entering in the 70th minute of play in place of Vitinha, “WZE” found the net during the stoppage time made the goal 3-1 after an exchange with Achraf Hakimi.

Having become an indisputable starter in Luis Enrique’s Parisian midfield, Warren Zaire-Emery is clearly knocking on the door of the France team. Didier Deschamps could call him up at the next Blues meeting.
