Deprived of Gabriel Jesus for several weeks, Arsenal was able to count on the first career hat-trick from its striker Eddie Nketiah, Saturday against the bottom of the Premier League, Sheffield United (5-0).

Runner-up to Tottenham at the top of the Premier League (two points behind), Arsenal had no trouble beating the bottom of the championship, Sheffield United, on Saturday afternoon at the Emirates Stadium (5-0). Mikel Arteta’s team lost Gabriel Jesus for several weeks, during Tuesday evening’s victory in the Champions League against Sevilla, but can now count on Eddie Nketiah, author of his first hat-trick!

The 24-year-old English striker notably scored two superb goals, justifying the confidence given by his Spanish coach for several seasons. On a cross from Declan Rice, Nketiah took the ball into the open area to open the scoring (28th). In the second half, after taking advantage of a botched corner to double the lead (50th), he scored his third goal with a sublime strike from outside the area (58th).

Fabio Vieira from the penalty spot (88th) and Japanese defender Takehiro Tomiyasu (96th) increased the score at the end of the match against the Blades who were last in the standings, with only one point won since the start of the exercise.
