The Premier League continues. For the tenth day, Arsenal welcome Sheffield Utd (kick-off 4 p.m., match to follow live on FM). The Gunners, 3rd with 21 pts, are coming off a big streak with a victory against Manchester City (1-0), a draw at Chelsea (2-2) and a success at Sevilla (2-1) in the Champions League . Conversely, Sheffield, last in the PL, remains on five defeats in a row and has only scored one small point since the start of the season.
For this meeting, Mikel Arteta must cope without several injuries (Gabriel Jesus, Partey, Timber) and makes several changes in his eleven after the victory in Spain. Gabriel, Tomiyasu, Odegaard and Jorginho will start on the bench. Kiwior will accompany Saliba in central defense while Zinchenko returns to the left. In the middle, Rice is accompanied by Smith Rowe and Havertz while in front Nketiah is aligned with Saka and Martinelli. On the Sheffield side, Paul Heckingbottom has around ten absentees and opts for a 4-3-2-1 with Brewster in particular in front. Ben Slimane starts in midfield with Norwood and Souza.
The official compositions:
Arsenal: Raya – White, Saliba, Kiwior, Zinchenko – Smith Rowe, Rice, Havertz – Saka, Nketiah, Martinelli.
Sheffield United: Foderingham – Bogle, Trusty, Robinson, Thomas – Norwood, Ben Slimane, Souza – McAtee, Hamer – Brewster.
