OM, bad news before the Olympico

Two OM players did not take part in training this Saturday, the day before Olympico faces OL.

Double blow for OM? After winning its first match of the season in the Europa League on Thursday evening, against AEK Athens (3-1), Olympique de Marseille returns to Ligue 1 this Sunday, with a shock against Olympique Lyonnais at the Stade VĂ©lodrome . A meeting for which Gennaro Gattuso could be deprived of two important elements.

According to information relayed by Provence, Azzedine Ounahi and Pau Lopez did not take part in the collective training session this Saturday. Already absent against AEK due to a thigh injury, the Spanish goalkeeper is not expected to return for the OL reception. Ruben Blanco is therefore expected to keep the Marseille cage.

Concerning Azzedine Ounahi, Gennaro Gattuso should provide more details during the pre-match press conference. In the event of a confirmed absence for the Moroccan international, the Marseille midfield could be made up of Geoffrey Kondogbia, Valentin Rongier and Jordan Veretout.
